Top Priorities

As I continue my mission as your representative, is addressing the homeowner's insurance crisis in Florida. With premiums more than doubling since 2019, and insurance companies leaving the state, many Floridians have been left without coverage. I will work on a bi-partisan basis to protect homeowners and to prevent anyone from losing their home due to unaffordable policy premiums.

As the summer of 2023 has shown we are at a pivotal time to address climate change. Florida, unfortunately, stands among the states most impacted by this pressing issue. To combat the ongoing climate crisis effectively, we must develop a comprehensive strategy and secure adequate funding for immediate action. It is essential that the legislator act swiftly and decisively to protect our state and the well-being of our communities from the far-reaching consequences of climate change.

I strongly believe healthcare is a human right. I will prioritize enhancing access to mental health and to addiction services while ensuring fair access to quality care. Additionally, I will be a staunch advocate for women's reproductive health, working to overturn restrictive abortion bans and guaranteeing access to safe and legal abortion options.

As your representative, I will strive to uphold the principles of fairness, justice, and equal rights for every Floridian. It is time to challenge the prevailing status quo and build a state that respects and supports the diverse needs and aspirations of its people. Together, we can create a Florida that truly represents the values and interests of its citizens, free from discrimination and repression.
