About Me

Katherine Waldron is a prominent figure in Palm Beach County, currently serving as the State Representative for District 93, encompassing Wellington, Greenacres, and Lake Worth. Prior to her current role, she made valuable contributions as a Commissioner on the Port of Palm Beach Board from 2017 to 2022. Katherine's academic background include an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Since 2002, she has been a resident of Palm Beach County, but she was originally born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. Presently, she resides in Wellington with her dog Arlo.


Throughout her life, Katherine has been deeply committed to making a difference in her community. Her dedication to community service is exemplified by her active involvement in various organizations. Currently, she holds a significant position as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, where she also serves as the Chair of the Capital Assets Committee.


Her commitment to community development and social causes goes beyond her role at the Salvation Army. Katherine has also made valuable contributions as a member of other prominent organizations' boards, such as the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency, the PBC Business Development Board, and the Florence De George Boys and Girls Club of PBC, among others.


In the aftermath of the devastating hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean, Katherine co-founded Palm Beach County Cares, an organization dedicated to collecting and providing donated supplies and funds for the rebuilding of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She has been a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship as well.


In her personal life, Katherine is a proud mother of three adult children: Mary Kate, and Joseph and Luke and a proud grandmother of Hunter all of whom reside in the Washington, D.C. area.
